Frederick Driver Killed In Weekend Crash Was 'Sweet Soul'

A GoFundMe page launched in memory of William Carter had raised more than $10,100 as of Thursday, July 14.

Carter died when his car veered off of Route 85 in Dickerson and slammed head-on into a tree Sunday, July 10, sheriff’s office announced.

Carter was pronounced dead at the scene, and his body was transported by paramedics to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore for an autopsy, they added.
